These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of goods and services from Ea & Ja Hiscock Limited. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Company" means Ea & Ja Hiscock Limited, registered in England and Wales with company number 05636274, whose registered office is at Armswell Farm, Plush, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 7RN.
• "Customer" means any person, firm, company, or other entity that purchases or agrees to purchase goods or services from the Company.
• "Goods" means any livestock, dairy products, or other agricultural products supplied by the Company.
• "Services" means any farming services, consultancy, or other services provided by the Company.
• "Contract" means any contract between the Company and the Customer for the sale of Goods or provision of Services.

2. Scope of Services

Ea & Ja Hiscock Limited operates as a farming business engaged in:

• Dairy farming and milk production
• Raising of livestock and other animals
• Wholesale supply of dairy products
• Sale of livestock to trade and agricultural customers
• Land management and environmental stewardship

3. Ordering and Payment Terms

3.1 Placing Orders

Orders for Goods or Services may be placed via our website enquiry form, by email to info@hiscocklimited.com, or by telephone during business hours. All orders are subject to acceptance by the Company.

3.2 Pricing

All prices quoted are in pounds sterling (£GBP) and, unless otherwise stated, are exclusive of VAT and delivery charges. The Company reserves the right to amend prices at any time without prior notice.

3.3 Payment

Payment terms will be agreed at the time of order and confirmed in writing. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 30 days of the date of invoice. Late payments may incur interest at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Delivery and Supply Terms

4.1 Delivery

Delivery dates and arrangements will be agreed at the time of order. The Company will make every reasonable effort to meet agreed delivery dates but shall not be liable for any delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

4.2 Risk and Title

Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery. Title to the Goods shall not pass to the Customer until the Company has received payment in full.

4.3 Livestock Delivery

Livestock deliveries are subject to applicable animal welfare regulations and health certification requirements. The Customer must ensure that suitable facilities and handling arrangements are in place to receive livestock.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Orders for standard dairy products may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the agreed delivery date without charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the order value. Orders for livestock are non-cancellable once health certification and transport arrangements have been completed.

Where you are contracting with us as a consumer, you have certain rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Perishable goods (including fresh milk, dairy products, and livestock) are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

6. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude the Company's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any matter for which liability cannot be excluded by law. Subject to the above, the Company's total liability in connection with any Contract shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer under that Contract.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and relating to our website are owned by or licensed to Ea & Ja Hiscock Limited. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any content from our website without our prior written consent.

8. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control, including acts of God, flood, drought, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, terrorist attack, civil war, fire, explosion, or accident.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any Contract between the Company and the Customer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
