Two Decades of Farming in the Piddle Valley
Ea & Ja Hiscock Limited was incorporated on 25 November 2005, founded by Edward Allen Hiscock and Julia Anne Hiscock with a shared vision: to operate a farming business that respected the land, cared for its animals, and contributed to the rural economy of Dorset.
From our registered office at Armswell Farm in Plush, a small hamlet nestled in a tributary valley of the River Piddle, we have built a business that reflects the values of traditional British farming while embracing modern best practices in animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and sustainable agriculture.
The Piddle Valley is a landscape of extraordinary character. The hamlet of Plush, with its cob and thatched cottages, represents the England that farming has sustained for centuries. The Anglo-Saxons farmed these lands over a thousand years ago, and King Alfred granted the lands of Plush by charter in 891 AD.

Edward Allen Hiscock
Co-founder of Ea & Ja Hiscock Limited, Edward has been the driving force behind the company's farming operations since 2005. His deep knowledge of livestock management, dairy farming, and the Dorset landscape has shaped the business into what it is today.
Julia Anne Hiscock
Co-founder and Company Secretary, Julia oversees the administrative, financial, and regulatory affairs of the business. Her dual role as Director and Secretary ensures the company maintains the highest standards of governance and compliance.
